To be eligible to take the certification exam, the applicant must have completed a 12-hr. training program given by GAPPS – the Georgia Association of Professional Process Servers. The AOC is working closely with GAPPS and the Georgia Sheriffs Association to make this program a success. GAPPS also offered an additional study session the night before the first exam.
Currently, GAPPs is the only training provider that has been approved by the Judicial Council; however, other providers can be approved to conduct training.
